Anne holds a Masters of Acupuncture from The Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), in Laurel, Md, 2001.
Anne is committed to healing so that her patients feel a lasting sense of well being. She is skilled in pain relief, calming mental anxieties, and assisting patients in making lasting life changes. Her sincere commitment is to bring her patients a sense of deep peace in their lives, and in turn, pave the way for more joy and vitality.
Anne does this through practicing 5 Element Acupuncture, integrating 8 principles and the Balance Method taught by Dr. Richard Tan. She continues to attend workshops to expand on these Asian healing arts. Anne also brings Colorpuncture, Light Therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, and nutritional remedies into her treatment plan. She is committed to teaching patients how to maximize their health at home, work and in every aspect of their lives.
Anne holds a Masters of Acupuncture from TAI-SOPHIA in Laurel, Maryland. (Received December 2001) This is a 3 ½ year program of study requiring 2300 hours of classroom and clinical training. She holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is a former economics and management professor at the College of Southern Maryland (CSM). She currently lectures in the College of Southern Maryland’s Holistic Health and Massage Therapy Program.
